BlastRADIUS Verification Tool + Guide and Worksheet

The BlastRADIUS Verification Tool enables administrators to verify that systems have been upgraded and configured correctly. It looks at packet captures, and can send RADIUS packets directly to a RADIUS server. The result is a report indicating whether or not the systems are still vulnerable.

At the time of this writing, there are no updates for Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) which will flag the attack and warn about it. In addition, an IDS cannot send test packets to a RADIUS server in order to tests its’ functionality. While it is possible to create similar scripts manually, the RADIUS protocol is complex, with many corner cases. It is easy to miss a critical piece, or to get something wrong. Using a proven tool reduces risk, and decreases the time to demonstrate that your systems are no longer vulnerable.

Administrators can also use the tool to craft custom RADIUS packets which can be accepted by local site policies.
